U type Ground Screw is the preferred foundation in many applications, such as Photovoltaic Solar Farm construction, Timber-frame Housing, Timber Decking, Street Light and Fence construction, Temporary Site Accommodation, Bill Board/Advertising Signs and many more applications.
Installation instructions
Where to use: Suitable for fencing,gazebos, decking, cubby houses, sheds and carports. The ground screw stimup can be for both horizontal and vertical timber applications.
Step1:
Insert the ground screw, twisting it until the striup base is level with the ground. Ensure all stirmups are secure and level construction.
Hint: In drought conditions,drive a Y-Post into the ground first. Remouve it, then dampen the small hole with water to make the soil softer to make screwing the stimp into the ground easier.
Step2:
Insert timber beam into the U-Braket,leaving a 10-20mm gap.
Hint: use a spacer to keep the gap uniform
Step3:
Fix team to U-Braket with one screw,ensure the beam is level and fasten all remaining screws.
Step4:
For pemanent fixation it is recommented that a bolt is inserted through the centre hole of the U-Braket.
U type ground screw stirrup advantages:
